MY two like visiting Legoland and could not wait to see the new Ninjago topic.
Day of the Departed was released at Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester earlier this month and the small children were eager to demonstrate off their ninja competencies by breaking Lego blocks and tackling the Ninjago Laser Maze Challenge.
In Mission Extremely hard model, agile youngsters duck and dive by means of laser beams at numerous angles and heights to arrive out the other aspect in the fastest time. I did give it a go but the alarm sounded within just seconds — my ninja competencies aren’t what they made use of to be.
And they had the added delight of conference Kai, the Purple Hearth Ninja, as he made his way by means of the centre, stopping for hugs, shots and serving to himself to bits out of their goodie luggage.
Yet another favourite for us is the Kingdom Quest Laser Trip, in which you have to shoot as lots of ghouls and monsters as you can and try to rescue the princess. The competitive streak in our household observed the four of us comparing scores at the conclusion, even though I am confident the counter on my gun stopped doing the job 50 %-way spherical.
No excursion to Legoland would be comprehensive devoid of a welcome sit-down and espresso for moms and dads, though the small children preserve them selves entertained on rides these types of as Merlin’s Apprentice, Forest Pursuit Driving College and the soft play space. They could also make their very own Ninjago eye masks.
Having loved their morning at Legoland, it was back to the automobile with pleas to look at Ninjago when we bought home, which we did . . . many instances!
